With John Hardys final season of his career in the books, it’s time to turn our attention to what he accomplished on the field and off the field.
Hardy led the team in receptions (13) and receiving yards (8,973) while also leading the NFL in touchdowns (22) and rushing yards (1,932).
The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder also tied a career high with 12 rushing touchdowns and was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Week.
The 2017 season was Hardys first with the Raiders after being acquired in a trade with the New York Jets.
The Raiders finished second in the NFL with 3,068 yards rushing and fourth with 822 yards receiving.
Hardys career highs in receptions and receiving yardage in 2016 were 12 and 9, respectively.
Hardy, who is a free agent this offseason, spent most of his rookie season on the Jets practice squad.
He also made the team as an undrafted free agent.
Hardys career best came in 2017 when he set a career-high with 11 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown.
His lone touchdown came in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers.
He has 11 catches for 134 yards in 10 games this season.
The Raiders selected Hardy with the 28th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
He spent his first three seasons with the team.
Hardies last season saw him miss the final five games due to injuries and was one of only two players in NFL history to miss five consecutive games with a concussion.
Hardypoins final season was a career year for the Raiders as he totaled 977 yards on the ground, which was second among NFL running backs and was the most by any running back in 2017.
Hardypoens 5,086 yards rushing on the season tied him for sixth on the team with a career best.
Hardyrs career average of 9.3 yards per carry ranked sixth among running backs.
He had 1,539 yards rushing, including 1,955 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Hardyrs 10 touchdowns tied him with Reggie Bush for the third most in NFL franchise history.
The 2017 Raiders were also the first team to finish the season undefeated in franchise history and also the only team to make the playoffs.
Hardies season was also the fourth time the team has made the playoffs and the third time in the past four seasons.
